Since surpassing 20 million units in 2021, the Jelly Mask has consistently maintained sales exceeding 10 million units annually.

Banobagi's Jelly Mask is gaining popularity in the global market. It has won the Watsons Award in Thailand for four consecutive years and is exported to various countries, including the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom. The Vita Genie Jelly Mask currently consists of a total of 30 types, including both domestic and international versions.

Due to its popularity, the Jelly Mask has faced difficulties with counterfeit products circulating in Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam. However, the company won a lawsuit against counterfeiters earlier this year, leading to expectations of further improved sales performance in the future.

Banobagi CEO, Ban Jae-yong, stated, “We are delighted that the Jelly Mask line, embodying Banobagi's, a leading Korean medical beauty group, vitamin skincare expertise, is gaining recognition. We plan to introduce even more diverse products in the future.” He also emphasized, “As mask packs can affect the skin through both the essence and the sheet that adheres to the skin, it is crucial to exercise caution against the risks associated with unverified counterfeit products.” Banobagi is implementing various events to revitalize its existing sales channels, including its own online store, Naver Smart Store, and Coupang, while simultaneously expanding into new distribution channels such as 11st and KakaoTalk Shopping to reach more domestic consumers.

In January of this year, Banobagi launched seven exclusive Jelly Mask types in Vietnam. The packaging incorporates Ban Jae-yong's image to distinguish them from counterfeit products.
